Decline Push-ups
Decline Push-ups is a strength exercise with your bodyweight that mainly works the chest, with help from the front delts and triceps.
How to do it
- Feet on a bench or box, hands on the floor under the shoulders
- Brace the abs so the hips do not sag
- Elbows at about 45° from the body
- Lower the chest to the floor; more weight on the shoulders and upper chest
In Sets Ahead
Sets Ahead starts you on 3 sets of 5–8 reps with 3:00 rest. When every set reaches 8 reps, add 2.5 kg, or 5 lb if you train in pounds of extra weight, or keep adding reps.
